Kathi Carey has quite literally been performing all her life. She started playing piano at the age of 4 and was considered a child prodigy, performing all over the SF Bay Area in concerts and recitals. But her interests were far more eclectic and she wound up broadening her performing to include stints as an opening act for Bill Cosby, Roy Clark and others in the showrooms of Vegas, Tahoe and Reno. But with acting as her ultimately goal, Hollywood became her destination. A series of indie films and TV pilots came next. Most recently she added writing and directing projects for film and TV (and now the web) to her skill-set. Her current short film, "Worth," has screened at over 30 festivals and won 30 awards.
